Breach and Termination
Astrokhoj reserves the right to modify, discontinue, change, or alter our services, either in whole or in part, without the need to inform the User. This may also extend to the modification of the User’s registered account with the Website. The Website may or may not issue notice or provide a reason for such actions.
Any violation of the conditions mentioned in these Terms of Usage may result in immediate cancellation of the User’s registration, if applicable. Astrokhoj reserves the right to terminate and take immediate action under the following circumstances:
- Verification and Authentication: If the Website is unable to verify and authenticate the Registration data or any other relevant information provided by the User.
- Legal Liability: If the actions of the User are believed to potentially cause legal liability for Astrokhoj, other Users, or any service provider associated with the Website.
- False Information: If the Website believes that the User has provided false and misleading Registration Data, or if there is interference with other Users or the administration of the services, or if the User has violated the privacy policy as outlined by the Website.
For Service Providers, including Astrologers, it is understood and agreed that their relationship with the Website is limited to being a member, and they act exclusively on their own behalf and for their own benefit. The Website reserves the right to terminate and deactivate the profile of such service provider for any violation of these terms of usage and the Service Terms and Conditions agreed upon during their registration with the Website.
Delivery, Cancellation and Refund Policy
Astrokhoj has established the following policies regarding the delivery, cancellation, and refund of our services and products:
A). Refund Policy
- Reports: No refund shall be processed for any order of reports once it has reached the “processing” stage (assigned to an Astrologer). The User bears the risk and responsibility for hasty and careless order placement once the processing stage has commenced.
- Order Execution: Once an order has been placed and executed, no refund shall be processed. However, if the User wishes to cancel a successfully placed order before execution, the User must contact our customer care team within 1 (one) hour of making the payment. Whether to issue a refund in such cases is at the discretion of Astrokhoj.
- Technical Delays: Any technical delay or glitch reported on the website during the processing of requests, including the generation of reports by service providers (Astrologers), shall not be eligible for a refund. The User acknowledges that timelines are approximate, and all reasonable steps will be taken to adhere to them as displayed.
- Incorrect Information: No refund shall be processed if incorrect information or data has been provided by the User. The User is advised to exercise caution while providing information and must verify the information before clicking “Submit.” Requests for correcting incorrect information must be made to customer care within 1 (one) hour of service execution.
- Damaged Products: No refund shall be processed for the return of any damaged product. The User is fully responsible for any damage caused to the product after delivery. For orders made via “Cash on Delivery,” the User shall be charged for the cost of the product as displayed on the website, as well as applicable shipping, custom, or courier charges if the product is returned.
- Pro-Rata Refunds: Refunds on a pro-rata basis may be considered for delays in the activation of subscription services. Damage that occurs to products while in transit will be addressed by Astrokhoj and its associated agencies.
- Product Display: The User acknowledges that the display pictures for products listed on the website are for reference purposes only. Astrokhoj will make efforts to deliver the product in an “as-is” condition as displayed. No refund shall be issued on these grounds.
- Astrological Effects: The services offered and products sold are not intended to replace any philosophical, emotional, or medical treatment. Astrokhoj assumes no responsibility or liability regarding the reality or reliability of astrological effects on human physiology associated with the gems represented and sold on the website. The decision to purchase such products or use services is solely at the User’s discretion, and no refund shall be issued on these grounds.
- “Call with Astrologer” Feature: No refund shall be processed if the User provides an incorrect contact number for using the “Call with Astrologer” feature. The User is advised to ensure the contact number is in full coverage area and must answer the call when received. No refund shall be processed for any connected call.
- Deductions: Refunds, if applicable, shall be processed after deducting transaction charges levied by the Bank and/or the Payment Gateway, to and from the cost of shipping and/or courier charges (for product purchases), customs duty (if levied), and any other relevant charges incurred by Astrokhoj during processing and/or delivering the service.
B). Server-Related Issues
In case the Website or Payment Gateway’s webpage experiences server-related issues such as ‘slowdown,’ ‘failure,’ or ‘session timeout,’ the User should take the following steps:
- If the Bank Account appears to be debited, do not make the payment again and immediately contact Astrokhoj via customer care to confirm payment.
- If the Bank Account is not debited, the User may initiate a fresh transaction for payment.
Refunds for multiple payments, if any, after taking precautions against the same order, shall be refunded in full without deduction of transaction charges. Astrokhoj shall only retain the cost of one single order intended by the User.
C). Order Cancellation
Astrokhoj reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse or cancel any order for any reason whatsoever. Some situations that may lead to order cancellation include non-availability of the service, inaccuracies, errors in pricing information, or other identified problems. If a User’s order is canceled after payment has been made for the service, the amount paid for booking shall be refunded.
D). Quality Audit and Refunds
By requesting a refund, the User agrees to provide Astrokhoj’s quality audit team with permission to access chat/call recordings of the consultation for which a refund has been requested. The quality audit team will, to the best of their ability, provide partial/full refunds to users in their Astrokhoj wallet when consultant quality parameters are not met. It may take up to 72 hours to analyze and refund the amount to the Astrokhoj wallet. All refunds will be credited to the user’s Astrokhoj wallet.
Refunds will only be considered in the following cases:
- Network issues affecting the chat/call during video/normal call sessions.
- Consultant’s inability to respond fluently in the language mentioned in their profile.
- Inordinate delays in consultant responses.
- Consultant responding with irrelevant or inappropriate answers to user queries.
Please Note: No refund will be given for a lack of accuracy in any consultation. Astrokhoj takes no responsibility for factual accuracy in consultations.
E). Shipping Policy
No physical products are shipped outside India. Astromall products requiring physical delivery are only deliverable within India.
These policies are subject to change, and the User is responsible for staying informed about any updates or modifications. By using Astrokhoj’s website and services, you are considered to have accepted and agreed to these policies.

G). User Obligations
Astrokhoj holds all Users, including Astrologers and Member Customers, accountable for adhering to the privacy policy, terms and conditions, and any other terms defined on the Website. The User represents that they are an individual and not a corporation or other legal business entity. The right to use the Website’s services is personal to the User. While using the Website and engaging in any form of communication on any of the forums, including products listed on the Website, Users shall not violate the terms and conditions, which include but are not limited to the following:
- Content Posting: Users shall not post, publish, or transmit any messages that are false, misleading, defamatory, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, invasive of privacy, offensive, promote racism, hatred, or harm against any individual, group, religion, or caste, infringe upon another’s rights, including intellectual property rights, copyright, or trademark, or violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Unauthorized Content: Users shall not upload, post, or otherwise make available any content that they do not have the right to make available under any law or under contractual or fiduciary relationships.
- Intellectual Property: Users shall not upload or post content that infringes upon any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other proprietary rights of any party. Excerpts of copyrighted material may be posted as long as they adhere to Fair Use guidelines.
- Unsolicited Communication: Users shall not collect screen names and email addresses of members for purposes of advertisement, solicitation, or spam. Sending unsolicited email, junk mail, spam, chain letters, or promotions/advertisements for products or services is prohibited.
- Malicious Content: Users shall not upload or distribute files that contain viruses, corrupted files, or any other similar software or programs that may damage the operation of the Website or another user’s computer.
- Interference: Users shall not engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts access to the Website.
- Unauthorized Access: Users shall not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion or feature of the Website, other systems or networks connected to the Website, or any services offered on or through the Website through hacking, password mining, or any other illegitimate means.
- Compliance with Laws: Users shall not violate any applicable laws or regulations, whether within or outside India. The use of the Website is for personal use only.
- Commercial Use: Users shall not resell or make commercial use of the Services without express written consent from the Website.
- Reverse Engineering: Users shall not reverse engineer, modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer, or sell any information or software obtained from the Website.
By becoming a registered member of the Website, Users agree to the following situations (non-exhaustive list) and may include services incidental to the below mentioned:
- Users agree to receive communication through the app/website via email, SMS, or any other communication medium, including WhatsApp Business Messages, regarding the usage of the app/website.
Users are prohibited from:
- Transmitting unlawful, harassing, libelous, abusive, threatening, harmful, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable material.
- Transmitting material that encourages conduct that could constitute a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, or violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to other computer systems.
Users shall not interfere with other members’ use or enjoyment of the Website or Services.
Users have an obligation to report any misuse or abuse of the Site. Any false complaint made by a Member may result in the termination of their membership without any refund of the subscription fee.
The Website reserves the right to withdraw its services from any customer found to be unreasonable or abusive in their interactions with Service Providers, including astrologers, regardless of the reason.
While the Website will take steps to resolve any situation that violates the above obligations, if the situation is not controllable, the Website reserves the right to send a written warning. Repeated violations by the User may lead to a total ban from transacting on the platform. Any balance in the User’s wallet shall be refunded, subject to other applicable charges for such violations.
H). Bank Account Information
Users are obligated to provide their banking information as and when required. For this purpose, the obligations of Users are as follows:
- Correct and Accurate Card Details: Users agree that the debit/credit card details provided by them for the use of the aforementioned Service(s) must be correct and accurate. Users shall not use a debit/credit card that is not lawfully owned by them or whose use is not authorized by the lawful owner thereof.
- Validity of Card/Bank Details: Users may pay the required fees to the Website using a debit/credit card or through an online banking account. Users warrant, agree, and confirm that when they initiate a payment transaction and/or issue an online payment instruction and provide their card/bank details:
- They are fully and lawfully entitled to use such credit/debit card or bank account for such transactions.
- They are responsible for ensuring that the card/bank account details provided by them are accurate.
- They are responsible for ensuring that sufficient credit is available on the nominated card/bank account at the time of making the payment to cover the dues payable or the selected bill(s), including the applicable Fee.
Users further agree that if any part of these Terms of Usage is determined to be invalid or unenforceable pursuant to applicable law, including, but not limited to, warranty disclaimers and liability limitations set forth herein, then the invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed superseded by a valid, enforceable provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provision. The remainder of these Terms of Usage shall continue in effect.
